Jennifer Anne Simons is a singer-songwriter from south Florida and lead vocalist in The Modern Beat Orchestra. Her sultry sound and soulful stylings decorate dance music in such a way that it leaves the listener wanting more. At times simply stated, and always enchanting, Simons performs all featured vocal parts, utilizing her sheer talent, unstoppable range, and clear tone.

Simons has had extensive vocal performance training in the areas of classical, jazz, gospel, and theater music. Her performances include a variety of venues ranging from small accapella ensembles to performing musicals such as Les Miserable on the Kravis Center Stage in West Palm Beach, FL. She has also performed with the legendary house musician, Darryl Pandy and written and recorded music for corporate accounts internationally. Her music has taken her to national and international competitions reaching across the globe from The Performing Arts Center of Tampa, FL to as far as Saltsburg, Austria.

As a performer, educator, and author, Simons enjoys the writing and creative aspects of making music, but is truly happiest when performing on stage with The Modern Beat Orchestra. This live set combines both the energy of a live band with the same intensity of a DJ, for the ultimate experience in the best of club entertainment. Simons, along with the rest of the band members are looking forward to the release of their full-length album due out summer 2009.
