Jennifer Anne Simons is a singer-songwriter from south Florida and lead vocalist in The Modern Beat Orchestra. Her sultry sound and soulful stylings decorate dance music in such a way that it leaves the listener wanting more. At times simply stated, and always enchanting, Simons performs all featured vocal parts, utilizing her sheer talent, unstoppable range, and clear tone.

Simons has had extensive vocal performance training in the areas of classical, jazz, gospel, and theater music. Her performances include a variety of venues ranging from small accapella ensembles to performing musicals such as Les Miserable on the Kravis Center Stage in West Palm Beach, FL. She has also performed with the legendary house musician, Darryl Pandy and written and recorded music for corporate accounts internationally. Her music has taken her to national and international competitions reaching across the globe from The Performing Arts Center of Tampa, FL to as far as Saltsburg, Austria.

Sept. 9, 2009 - We are pleased to announce that music videos for upcoming Modern Beat Orchestra releases are in production! There are three different videos in different stages of production, and we expect to have them completed over the next few months.

As you may have been following, the Modern Beat Orchestra has been working on a ton of new music - a full album fresh with all new tracks, remixes, and slammin' live club versions as well! We're taking some of our favorite singles, and putting them in the hands of the visual artists of the MBO. The results are going to be spectacular!

The songs featured in the videos will be released as EP's, as well as included on the forthcoming feature-length album by the Modern Beat Orchestra. The tracks included are "Talk to You", "Because You Loved Me", and "The Time is Now" by the Modern Beat Orchestra - all featuring vocalist Jennifer Anne.

Quick Notes:

-- New addition to the Modern Beat Production Team and MBO Live, Matthew Warren, is working on production of "Talk to You", and prepping for an upcoming shoot with vocalist Jennifer Anne in two weeks.
-- Travis Skinner from Orbiting Studio and MBO Live is editing and animating scenes and photography for "The Time is Now", including shots taken from the MBO's live show at the Blue Room in Jacksonville, FL.
-- The screenplay for "Because You Loved Me" has been finished, and pre-production continues. Expect shooting to start next month.
